Our Commitment

The Kampala Industrial and Business Park (KIBP) is located 11 KM of Kampala, adjacent to the Kampala- Jinja Road and is proposed to become a model industrial park for the rest of the country. To this effect, the Ugandan Government has designated 894 ha of land for the purpose of the development of the industrial park with various infrastructure including industrial and commercial facilities. It is envisioned that the KIBP will provide common user facilities, offer collective services and outsourcing opportunities, and an improved business environment.

Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) has contracted Lagan DOTI Namanve Limited to implement the proposed project, and this carries with it contractual obligations to observe environmental and social safeguards in line with the national statutory requirements and World Bank environmental and social safeguard policies.
